4.3L vortec v6 knock sensor issue! please help!
i bought my blazer a few months ago, im 16, its my first car, im new to this forum and i was really hoping to get some help from you guys... i was changing my plugs and wires and realized my knock sensor (right side of block) was unplugged, the wire was just dangling. i went to plug it back in and the connector was brittle and broke off the end. the engine is running terrible (misfire, spits and sputters, pauses when you go to romp on it) idk if it is from this broken sensor or what but can you please help me? i have a major loss of power also, all these symptoms occur after its warmed up. after start up it runs like a champ but when its warmed it runs bad. the pic is the end of the wire, whats left of it. the blazer is a 1993 s10/blazer 4.3l vortec v6 4wd i believe its CPI

Google 'GM Knock Sensor Pigtail' and you'll find a number of sources for the replacement connector. You also should be able to find a replacement at most autoparts stores.

You can always get a pigtail from a junkyard as well. However, they may be brittle as well.
