Ignition lockout switch

Ignition lockout switch
My 97 blazer sometimes will not start until I jiggle the shifter handle. Where is the park/nuetral ignition lockout switch
#2
The park/neutral switch is on the side of the transmission. But I doubt that is the problem. If giggling the shift lever allows it to start and it is a column shifter, your problem is likely a failing ignition switch.

It is a floor shifter, It seems like when it does this there are no instrument lights, warning ring or anything until I move the shifter.
#4
Even more reinforcement that the ignition switch is at fault. A park/neutral switch issue will have no impact on warning lights, instrument cluster, etc.

Replaced the ignition switch, works great. Thanks
