95 cranks but wont start
help needed. My son rolled his 95 Blazer on Monday. Good news he is ok. The driver window broke. We were able to drive it home. We replaced the window and the motor for the window. Then tried tried to start it. Would not turn over. Thought maybe the battery was the issue, so charged it overnight. (battery is 2 months old) Tried to start it, cranks but wont start.
Put a new starter in 2 months ago.
Gas gage has not been working.
Does it have some kind of safety shut off?
What is most likely wrong?
Do you think something came loose?
So thankful my son is ok, but like to be able to drive our only 4 wheel drive vechile with 12 inches of snow today.

Yes, we can hear the fuel pump run, has spark with spark plugs, it had started earlier that morning. Moved it into the garage to do work to the window and such and had left the door open and the car drained like it said.. But yes the fuel pump turns on, the lights and windshieldwipers flicker when i turn the key unsure if that is anything related.

Lights and wipers could be most anything at this point. Check both ends of both battery cables, make sure all connections are clean and tight, with no green fuzz growing on them. If you have a good blue, not orange, spark at each plug while cranking, probably ought to check fuel pressure and leakdown. Most auto parts stores rent/loan the tester for free, and sell them for ~$40. When you have the tester available, we can explain how to test.
