I have a 1998 blazer.. Its a 4.3L 190 hp V6... And What is happening is.. Every now and then..It might do it once a day.. When I start it up its a rough idle..And If I drive it the check engine light will flash..And keep on till I stop at a red light.. Then if I take off it will do it again...If I keep driving it it will go back to Normal again.. Its hit and miss on when it does it.. can somebody please help me on this.. I have took it too a shop and they have no clue.. I have done a tune up.. Replaced sparks plugs and wires.. Rotor and Dis cap..New Ignition Coil.. I do smell a slight fuel smell.. Not alto.. Check engine light flashing == potentially damaging misfire is detected inside the engine. You really shouldn't continue to drive it while this is occurring. Check out the P030x trouble code listing which can be found in the OBD2 DTC Index link in my signature below.

Did you install the new wires correctly? I recently changed my cap and rotor, plugs, and wires and was having rough idle until I pulled the wires and made sure that the lengths corresponded to the old wires.
