Default Bell Housing to engine block struts

Can anyone tell me how I can re-fasten the driver side strut to the engine. I had to take it off to remove/install new oil lines. Now I can't get the bolt to line up and thread in. Any suggestions. Also, can I drive the vehicle a very short distance without one of these stuts attached or will something break. Thanks

Default RE: Bell Housing to engine block struts

Hi I removed the driverside motor mount bolt than I jacked up the engine (It will lift up a few inchesjust enough) I used A 9/16 universal and a few extensions through the wheel well to replace the bolt , And I have driven a few trucks with themmissing and never incured a problem Hope this helps
