We can help you stop guessing!

Start by getting or borrowing a capable scanner (one that will read cmp retard). If you have Android I recommend Car Gauge Pro (for 1998+ Blazers only) + BAFX Bluetooth OBD2 adapter from Amazon. Total cost about $30.

If you have Iphone, then Dash Command ($10) + Enhanced GM PIDs ($10 more) for your year vehicle and take your pick of Wifi OBD2 adapters (I have no recommendation) but cheap is generally slow.

If you have 1996-1997 Blazer - then Dash Command is the only inexpensive game in town that I am aware of - they make it for both Android and Iphone but you will need to buy enhanced GM PIDs for each year vehicle.

1995 OBD2 is not supported by any inexpensive scanner I am aware of.

You may find you will need a digital multimeter, so locate one of them.

Also read the sticky on fuel pressure testing at the top of the 2nd gen forum. Go get a loaner fuel pressure gauge from a local auto parts store like Auto Zone or Advance Auto parts.

Then come back and we can get started with diagnosis and verification of correct operation of a number of things.
