Default Crankshaft position sensor 95 blazer 4.3

I am trying top locate this sensor for the past week and hoping some one would help me. It just isn't where it should be. I have been looking at the 7 o'clock position on the front of the engine. If someone knows where it could be located other than there, let mne in on the secret. After my Blazer runs for a while and I turn it off, after about 45 min to an hour later try to crank it, it faiols to crank until it totally cools down. I do not get a "check engine" light or any other indication

sounds like it could be a fuel problem. Have you checked your fuel relay? Fuel filter? Fuel pressure? I had a similar problem with a car I used to own. I would drive it and turn it off, then when I tried to start it again a while later, it would not turn over. I also had to wait for it to cool down completely.

As for the ckp, I do not know of any other location other than the 7 o'clock position on the front of the engine. Are you looking in the correct area? On my 02, you can see it and the connector by just looking down at it from the top of the engine bay near the bottom of the engine. If you look at the front of the engine from under the truck, it is right behind the crank belt pulley attached to the timing chain cover. It's pretty hard to miss. Hope this helps.

There is a place for the sensor (behind the crank pulley). It appears to be factory plugged. I am wondering if with it being the first year of the 2nd gen, something else took its place. I am at a loss. Everyone I have spoke with and or had dealings with (outside of a dealership or mechanic) says the sensor is there. There is no harness or sensor. Just a 5/8" bore (for the sensor) and a 5/16" tapped hole for the bracket bolt. Any other reccomendations??? I hate spending the kind of money these shop charge for something so simple.
BTW, my fuel pressure is at 59psi and the vehicle turns over, it just will not crank. I even sprayed starter fluid in the TBI and it would not crank. Even if my pressure was down, and after I sprayed starter fluid, would it not start? I don't know. I am just begging for help and I hate to give up on it.
