intake gasket

i just changed my intake gasket on my 96 s10 blazer with a 4.3 vortec now my motor is knocking and it wasnt before anyone ever had a problem like this or is my motor bad now

Anything is possible. Is there any way that you can either post a video or a sound clip of the noise?

sir otto is an unknown quantity at this point

My guess is that you dropped something in one of teh intake port on the head. Figure out what cylinder it is and pull the plug. Get a mirrior and a flash light and see if the piston is marked up.
