front axle no engagement! 98 LT
OK well like it says my front axle won't lock in. Transfercase is fully functioning 2- 4lo . I can hear it shifting and it's for sure going into low range. Front spider actuator gear has been .
replaced!

Sounds like a vacuum problem. Could be the diaphragm under the battery tray. (I think its located under the battery tray in your 98.
