Default heavy clunking

I have a 97 bravada. About a week ago my power brakes didn't work and the ABS system light went on. I did have a few glitches previously but no light staying on. Then today went and got better used tires for the front. As leaving the tire shop something didn't feel right. in about 6 blocks it started making noise up front. I pulled over and decided to shut off engine and start out again. The noise stopped but still didn't feel right (thru steering wheel). Went about the same distance and the noise return but seemed to be causing power drag when turning a corner directly after. Pulled into parking lot and did a backup with abrupt braking (checking for brake hangup). No issue noticed, so continued down the highway with it back to feeling funny only. Went maybe 1/4 mile and the clunking and drag (obvious) returned and got worse before I could get into another lot. Now it was noisy at slow speeds and could feel drag also. Nothing cleared it and I parked it and jacked up each front wheel and check for brake and bearing and ok. Still parked there. Would appreciate any input for my next step(s).
