how long does a clutch last

I'd bet, in Maryland, a little over a grand.

my trusty mechanic here in Montgomery county said around 600-700, give or take.

My dad has a 1989 f-150 he bought it in 2000 with 40,000 miles now it has around 150,000 miles on it. still has the original clutch. but he doesn't beat it either.

wow looks like i need to charge more next time i do one. Lol


The parts probably aren't much more than $100.00. I charge $300.00 plus parts to do a clutch.

s10 clutches are so easy to do too. i did one in my garage in like 4-5 hours... im sure on a lift with power tools and not laying on your back can go alot easier... expecially if its a 2wd.
