How many 02 sensors? 4.3L TBI
1992 s-10 Blazer 4.3L Z TPI.
I recently had the O2 sensor changed out. It is the sensor behind the CAT. I had heard at the time that there was an 02 sensor before and after the CAT. I have a Haynes manual now and it is only showing 1 sensor. I can't see another one.
Before I had the 02 sensor replaced I was getting a 45 code.
I'm getting 2 codes now. 45 - O2 sensor indicates rich and a 13 - Oxygen sensor circuit. A few days ago I replaced the TPS sensor. Its still acting up, after being driven for awhile it will take some time to build up to speed after a stop. When it is acting up pressing down the gas pedal seems to have no effect. After 30 seconds or so it is back to normal. Down shifting seems to make things a little better. The exhaust is pretty strong as well.
Can anybody confirm how many O2 sensors this thing has?
So far:
New distributor, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, TPS, 02 sensor. Fuel pressure test as well.
Thanks
