not chargeing

Default not chargeing

94 s10 blazer, new alt, starter, an battery. had then all tested tons of times.. i tested the back of the alt when running an the battery an the voltage is at 12.2v what could be the problem??

The alternator should be putting out 14.3 when running.

check the fuses in the fuse box or any fuse-able links to see if they are blown. sometimes a blown alternator will take out the fuse too.

checked the fuses, i did find a plug under the dash, i unplugged it an noticed a wire was burnt, it is hooked to a plug that has a big orange wire, red wire, and a big purple wire, by any chance you guys knw where them wires go or what this plug end plugs into?? i dont got any wire diagrams so thats out.. the wire thats burnt is a small wire, i mean the plastic shield is gone off the wire..

Good job finding that. Could you tell us in as much detail as you can where it's located, and describe the component you unplugged? Color, size, shape, everything helps. Was the burnt wire touching anything under there?
This plug has 3 wires. 2 big ones (orange and purple) and a smaller red wire that's burnt. Correct? No black wire is a clue.
Maybe you could leave it unplugged, start it up, and try everything to find out what now doesn't work. Is there something that hasn't been working or acting up before this?

Default what are these wires??

have a charge problem found this burnt wire, runs up with a few other black wires an goes into a metal plug an then a few other black wires run out.. only 1 wire is burnt an it goes to this plug which plugs into this relay waaaaay up inside the dash an i got no idea what any of this is, what the relay is for ect

ok guys here is some pics, the plug, therelay or what ever it is, an the black wire runs to a bunch of other black wires but thats the ony burnt wire out of the bunch.. an info on what these wires are for an what that relay thing is??
