Default Overheating problem

Hey everyone I resently bought a 93 full size blazer and now it's having an overheating problem my radiator and upper hose r not getting hot however and I'm getting air in my cooling system some how and its skipping as well my temp gauge is going up to 260 but if I shut it off and let it sit the temp will drop any ideas

I'd get your cooling system pressure tested. I don't think that there are many ways to get air in the cooling system (other than after you fill the radiator), but one of the ways is a bad headgasket (which would also cause the skipping). Just something to think about!
