Default Quick PCV valve RPM drop question

So last time I posted a similar question but made it long for no reason, sorry. This time I'm summing it up easier, don't know why I didn't do it like this the first time.

When I pull my PCV valve out the engine drops almost to stall, then kicks back up. What could be the causes of this?
Give me a checklist if possible, lol.
Thanks.

Default RE: Quick PCV valve RPM drop question

You could be experiencing excessive blow-by on the cylinders which is causing the PCV valve to remain open when installed. When you remove it from the valve cover, it closes and there is a momentary lapse in engine air supply while the IAC valve is opening up.

Or it could be a sensitive PCV valve. If the truck is running properly, I would not worry about it. You could try replacing the PCV valve. They are cheap enough.

Hmm, maybe I'll try replacing the PCV valve.
People say the valve is supposed to rattle, which part is supposed to rattle? Because I shook everything and nothing rattles on my PCV valve.

The truck's running fine though, so I'm not worrying too much about it.

If it doesn't rattle at all, replace it.

you could also clean out the pcv valve with carb cleaner!!! try that first to see if it helps, if it does somewhat then buy a new one and go from there, also check the hose thats hooked to the valve it also may be clogged clean that out ...
