Default Radiator Trans cooler, ****** fitting size?

Does any one know what the specs on the fitting for the translines to rad are? I need to replace with a ****** fitting for going to an external cooler.

I have been told this is the OE fitting: Dorman 800-605

But cant find any info on its specs. So I dont know what kind of ****** fitting to get.

Please help!

I believe the radiator transmission cooler fittings are 1/2-20 inverted flare. They should be available in practically any autoparts store.

They'll probably have them at any hardware store too. I've seen them at lowes.

I actually have some fittings laying around from my last B&M SuperCooler install. B&M includes more than enough fittings in the kit even though they do not always include enough hose...

Anyway, what is included in the B&M kit are four fittings. All of the fittings have a 3/8" hose barb connection on one end and the correct inverted flare on the other. The other end is as follows: one male 1/2-20, one female 1/2-20, one male 5/8-18, and one female 5/8-18.

Here are the pictures of the male connectors:

I only measured the 1/2-20:

First measurement (smaller) was of the shoulder on the tip of the fitting and the other was showing the major diameter of the thread.
