will a 4l60-e 4x4 from a 95 gm fit in place of my 4l60-e 4x4 out of my 99 blazer? an how would i make sure?

It would bolt up, but I would never recommend going backwards in year. There have been a number of improvements made over the 4 years between the two transmissions and according to my ATSG manual, there is at least one solenoid that is controlled differently in the later trans.
