Rusted trans filler tube and dipstick - easy to replace?
#21
I think it was like $20 from the dealer. I have (or had) a 1996 S-10 Blazer LT. My brother uses it and has not had any problems with that since replacing the dipstick. I bought a replacement dipstick tube but it was too hard to remove.

There are certain things that should be purchased OEM and this is one of them. I don't think you'll save any money by buying this at Autozone as they won't sell it. Also, expect to pay outrageous shipping if you buy this odd part online.
