Default Slow to shift 95 (high RPM shift)

Hello I recently purchaesed a 95 4 door 4WD with 45,000 miles on it. The tranny seems to hold first gear quite a long time and also holds second a little too long for me. It does not feel like it is slipping, however there is more "smoothness" between 2 and 3. This truck was well taken care of by an older gentlemen, it is in really good shape in and out so I am pretty sure it was not abused and do not think it has been off road. If it has a "tow package" set up will that be the reason for high RPM shifting? I want to put in a B&M shift kit to reduce the smoothness between gears. Any comments or suggestions?

Something that ive learned is that theres a program that runs to match your drive style with shift points and all. I know when i put a new ECU in mine everything was fixed in the shifting area. So if you go to a dealer and get your Computer flashed and get the updates i think that might help you.

But someone else might have a better idea.
