Stuck in 4wd...

Stuck in 4wd...
Like the title says...I was playing in a ditch after work a few days ago, and now I can't get it back into 2wd. It shifts between 4hi and 4low easily, but when I hit the 2wd button, I can hear a click coming from the switch, and something clicking from the transfer case...but no joy. Any suggestions?

RE: Stuck in 4wd...
If you have a newer Blazer with dash mounted 4wd, then I would try putting the transfer case in nuetral, it's a process and it can be found in your owner's manual or on-line, nuetral is usedwhenyourvehicle is in tow. This happened to me and it kicked it out of 4wd. Also, I would try checking your lines for anything loose and maybe invest in a new 4wd switch. They're on ebay for about $30.
Hope this helps.

Nah, Tried all that. I was easily able to switch between 4hi and low. Earlier I pulled the 4wd fuse to check it, and when I put it back in, the tranny shifted back to 2wd. Don't know if that'll work twice, but at least I'll stop chewing up tires for now.
Guess I should have mentioned that it's a 1997 with a dash switch and a floor shifted auto.

Go in manually under the hood and try moving the actuator back to the 2 wheel location.
