Default trans won't shift and speedo doesn't work

K I fixed the engine not starting issue. Now the last thing is the lack of a speedometer and trans won't shift gears while driving. The speed sensor is plugged in and so is everything else on the trans. I have to have missed a ground but can not find one loose anywhere.
Does anyone know where this might be?? Or what the issue could be?

sounds like the speed sensor to me. maybe it went bad? see if the truck will shift manually. like put it in first. get up to like 3000rpm then pop it in second.

my 93 doesnt have the vss hooked up and thats what it does.

Yep, bad VSS sensor or bad wiring to the VSS sensor.
