Default Transmission Problem

Ok Guys & Gals I Need Some Help I've Got A 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer 2 door with push button 4wd & a 4.3 liter Vortec Engine and it has no reverse all forward gears still function properly but i have no reverse and no neutral from neutral gear on down to 1st gear it goes forward and when u put it in reverse u can tell its in gear but it just freezes up & wont move at all under power but if u shut it off itll move forward and backwards in all gears ive redone linkage on tranny and i know 4 a FACT!!!! That the linkage is good 2 go so any help is very much appreciated

You need a trans rebuild. The failure you have described is very common.

U can tell the gears are there whenever u put it in reverse it just doesn't move

If it is binding in rev you have damaged rear planetary gears. Stripped shell will not bind in rev. It will have 1st and 3rd gears forward.
