Transmission rebuild
#2
Yes. If the shop that rebuilt it offered a discount price by using old parts the had setting around. When the transmission went out again the previous owner decided to sell instead of paying to have a top quality rebuild.

1TAD code is a separator plate from a 2001 truck and the plate hole that is built up is from the orificed check ball banging into it a million times. my guess it's the 1-2 check ball, that's center forward of the plate (opposite end of code stamp). 93-94 plates are not compatable with 96-06 plates. 95 units are in a class all of there own. the input shaft is the same on 4l60/4L60E 1988-2006 4.3L motors & 5.7L from 1988-1999. When the 4.8L,5.3L & 6.0L motor came out it was changed. (i have pressed the shaft's out and installed into various input drums over the years. the DCNF converter code is for a 96-on 4.3L with a 2075 Stall. 700R4, 4l60 & 4L60E's are all I build now...
