Default 1987 K5 stock suspension height??

Hey guys new in here.. Just wondering if anyone knows some dimentions for the 87 K5.. You see im about to buy a 6" lift for it but i notice older rancho springs.. wondering if there would be an easy way to check and see if there is already a kit installed, and if so, how to determine what size lift it may be... Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.. smokefan..

the front springs on a k5 at stock height have a negative arch. so if your front springs are dead straight or curved downward then it has some kinda lift on it

for some reason it wont let me upload the jpg.. but the front shocks are leaned backward if that helps at all.. also there are definetely about a 4" block over the axle in the rear.. any ideas on the image uploading problem?

im sure that there is a lift but how to determine what size is the real issue.. the blocks in the rear look to be about 4" on it..

I'm not an expert on this, but you're probably looking at a simple and cheap 4" lift then. It is cheaper to throw a block in the rear to lift than with new springs.

yeah 4 inch block would probably mean 4 inch lift. i got a 4 inch on my k30 and the springs are pretty much straight kinda like you stated
