Default Blower motor resistor

Can anyone tell me where the blower motor resistor is located at, I've look on the firewall (not there), under the dash (still don't see it). It will stay on it if left in the high position when the keys is out of the ignition and its causing my volts to drop big time once I flip the switch to high. Once I turn on my fan for heat its like my volts drop from 17 to 0. Once I turn it off, it goes back up. I'm thinking I have a short along with a bad blower motor resistor.

on my k5s they are screwed into the heater box just to the right of the blower motor. but i believe thats for non a/c models theres like two small screws that hold it in there. should have like a electrical connector with about 5 thick wires going to it.

i just looked it up on autozone.com and it seems the a/c ones look the same way, heres the link to give you a idea of what you need to look for

A/C Heater Blower Motor Resistor | 1985 Chevrolet Blazer 4WD 8 Cylinders H 5.0L 4BL OHV | AutoZone.com

link says 85 but 88 shows same parts
