Default Helpful Threads - Submit them Here!!

We are trying to get a good list of threads together that will help to answer some common questions. If you find a thread that really helped you out, please post a link to it here.

I do not want to have this thread turn into a discussion on the individual threads or their merit, just a place to drop a link to a thread you found helpful.

Thanks for your help in making this site even better!!

Headlights for 88-91 k5 & suburban and some newer transam/firebird cars. This applies if you have the 4 sealed beam headlights. If you do HID, there is a '4-high' mod on fullsizechevy.com so your lows stay on when you use your highs. Simple enough if you wire up your own relays. (use 3 relays or 2 relays and a diode)

Edit: I don't recommend the LMC housings (cheap plastic, not a good cutoff), and definately don't get Eurolight housings. The best solution seems to be converting to 165mm housings. Hella makes good cutoff pattern housings, and General Crystal also makes 165mm housings for Kenworth semi's (quality unknown).
Conversion: Has anyone converted their 89-91 K5 with 150mm headlights to 165mm

Step By Step - HID Light Upgrade

LMC sells housings with replaceable bulbs for $35 each
2x 36-0302 $34.95 Euro headlights (outer/low beam)
2x 36-0303 $34.95 Euro headlights (inner/high beam)
1x 36-3582 (70) $29.95 Harness/relays for 0302/0303. (not required)

Bosch H4 150mm housings are rumored to be excellent quality alternative, but they're discontinued. They were factory on some German-bound firebirds. Hella also used to make 150mm housings, but they are also discontinued.
