Default oil change

I did an oil change on the jimmy. When I drained the oil and took off the oil filter. Only a quart of oil came out. I was wondering what some common areas for it to leak oil. I would like to get it replaced.

Thanks.

check your oil coolar lines leading from the block to the oil filter and from the oil filter to the radiator. check your front and rear main seal. and oil pan gasket check ur driveway for drops of oil if it does pinpoint where its coming from. if no oil is present on the block or underneath could be burning oil when u first start it when cold check the for blue smoke out the tailpipe hopes this helps. my blazer is leaking oil from the cooler lines

Its imposable for your truck to have only 1 quart in the motor

and yes all these remote lines tend to leak at some point

also the rear seals on the engines do also see if you got any oil coming from the bell housing

One quart of oil in the engine was probably the reason for that noise in the other thread you posted. I'd be worried some internal damage has been done to your engine if you were driving it with only one quart of oil.

Next time you change your oil, replace one quart of oil with a quart of Marvell's Mystery Oil.

I check my oil weekly.. I'm not sure how you went with only 1 quart.
but the damage is already done it sounds like from the video, "mystery oil" or lucas additive will only "mask" the problem and not really fix it.
but with how bad it sounds, I doubt it will even do that.

I checked my oil about every two weeks and the dip stick showed that it had plenty of oil. Since I have changed my oil I really havne't herd the noise.

If you checked the oil every two weeks then i dont see how its possible for it to only have a quart of oil in it.
Its hard to tell in the video if its a knock or a clicking noise. If its a knock then you will most likely need a rebuild. If its a tick you might be able to save it.
Drain the oil and fill it with trans fluid. Let it idle for 20-30min then drain it. Then do a 50/50 mix with oil/trans then drain it. The trans fluid will help clean and break up any sludge that may be in the motor.
Have you been going though coolant? You may have an intake gasket leaking. Causing coolant to leak into the oil.
