Default 1985 Rochester carb to holley carb

When I bought this blazer i was told it needed a carb adjustment which shouldnt be hard, well tried and tried and couldnt get it to idle correctly at all and now when it goes to shift into second gear the engine stalls. Everyone told me to go to a 600 cfm holley carb and thats what i did, my neighbor sold me one for 70 that was just rebuilt. Im confused as to where all the vaccuum lines and things like that go, seems like theres more lines than there are ports in the carb. If anyone has any diagrams or any pointers. I couldnt find anything on the forum.

sometimes you have to improvise. ive swapped carbs around a lot and some carbs have only like one port and you have 8 things to hook up. usually the only difficult one to hook up is the one for the distributor advance cause it has to go to a source that only has vacuum on acceleration. all the others you can run to a T port on the intake or wherever you can
