Default engine swap

The questions I need awnsered is will a vortec v-6 from a 1994 2 wheel drive GMC jimmy swap into a 1995 s-10 4x4 chevy blazer that has vortec v-6 in it and both vehciles have automatic tran, also will the doors swap on the vehciles they are both 4 doors. Or would it be easier to swap the 94 jimmy engine into a 1991 s-10 4x4 blazer?

Doors, no. The body style changed in 95.

As far as a 94 engine into a 95, I know that there were some changes in 95 in the electronics which may include different front covers, etc. You would have to compare the engines closely, but it should be possible.

It would be much more difficult to swap the 94 CPI motor into a 91 which was TBI only.

Also in 95 they kind of were transitioning to ODB II. My 95 has odb 1.5/2 (works fine with a odb 2 reader)

Will the radiator out of the 94 jimmy fit the 95 s-10blazer, and will the wheels swap.

Are they both 4x4's? If so the wheels will swap no problem.

No, the jimmy is 2 wheel drive and the blazer is 4 wheel drive.

Okay after talking to both the truck owners, the owner of the 95 4x4 blazer has sold the wheels and radiator out the blazer and still wants 500 for it. The owner of the 91 4x4 blazerwill take 400 for his and the engine was swapped out with a 95 or 96 4.3 v-6 a few years ago. The rear seal went out and the engine now knocks. So with the other engine in it will the 91 blazer be a better candidate for the 94 jimmy engine.
