fuel pedal plunger 1987 blazer
hi folks I am new here and just picked up a 1987 blazer with a 4 speed manual transmission v6 I have a small problem that I can't seem to find any info on.
the gas pedal sometimes just stops working just go's to the floor and sits there and the car requires towing, the problem seems to be a plunger for the gas pedal located somewhere under the dash and I am at a a total loss as how or where I can get a replacement part the dealer says the part is no longer made but I am betting that's not the case. So if anyone knows what or where I can get the parts please feel free to email me.

should just be a cable that attaches to the gas pedal. there has to be a way to reclamp the end or make it work somehow. these trucks were made back in the day where you could actually fix stuff on them
