Look at the back end of the truck, right below the bumper! ??? Or if you mean, should it have the tow package, look at your RPO codes in the glovebox.

Should be an RPO code for it.

The tow package contains more than trailer wiring and receiver hitch. There should also be an auxillary tranny cooler, factory installed, 3.73 gearing, and some other things.

My 2000 Bravada had the hitch and the HD harness. RPO codes were:
VR4 Trailer Hitch: Weight Distributing Platform
UY7 Wiring Harness: Heavy Duty, Trailer

Did not have a factory installed auxiliary trans cooler though, only the one in the radiator.

My '89 has a factory wiring harness and a class 3 bolted in from the factory, 4.11 gears, the radiator does coolant, oil and trans fluid all in one, my oil filter is on the fender. Theres no external trans cooler and the VR4 and UY7 code are in the the glove box on the sticker along with about 50 other codes, I've never had any problems towing anything up to a 20 foot trailer with 6k on it.
