I'm at 14-16, I do have an iron foot. I have a 94' full size Blazer on 33's lifted 5 in the rear 7 in the front. I noticed that when I run 5w30 I get WAY better mileage than 10w30. I also do have plenty of engine modifications including a mpg and power performance chip etc and I also do have a 700r4 transmission. Motor only has 45,000 miles on it.

I'm kind of mystified by my car 2000 Blazer 4WD 4 door. About 3 years ago, we diagnosed a problem using the code reader. The solution was replacing the MAF sensor (I also replaced the 2 O2 sensors first). The problem was that the car had no power (it evidently went into limp home mode) and wouldn't go up hill very well which is a problem around here. Anyway, it used to get about 18mpg (before diagnosis), I fixed it and it got a lot more power and only got 14mpg. Now it's down to 12mpg. (BUT IT REALLY RUNS WELL AND VERY STRONG, FASTER THAN EVER) I'm not aware of any recent changes to the gasoline in Colorado, so this seems weird.
One of the guys I work with is in the same situation with a Dodge Neon (maybe 2002?) which has gone from 35mpg to 24mpg.
/anyway, if any car guys in this thread have ideas about our mpg problem plz post!

24 mpg/11.8 litres per 100km, just finished this trip today, conditions were 95%+ highway and fairly windy for about half the trip (Head on and from the side).
I really pleased as this is the best I've got out of the vehicle, the average for me is about 21 mpg/13.75 litres per 100km cruising around the city. I hope to change my plugs and wires in the next couple months and see if that makes a different, I feel they are due for a change.

Yep. On the highway i average 20 mpg. In the city it averages to 14 mpg. Towing a pop up camper i average 17.5 mpg. I love my Blazer for the versatility and capability of it.

when mine was running right (not like it is now) i always got no less than 30 on the highway and no less than 20 in the city.dont ask me how it got that but it did. My trip meter probably still has the mileage from my last tank on it but it wont come on neither will my gauges (thats a whole 'nother f***** up situation still yet to be solved).

I typically average about 18 with mixed driving. 2001 2 door Blazer 4WD auto, stock height and non aggressive tires. Also I'll note that I do have a roof basket that I leave on 24/7 which had a minor effect on my MPG. Weather doesn't seem to change that average much but it has been hot and humid here in WV lately. Shocks were/are worn out. Currently replacing them with the Monroe Reflex Monotubes and have done the rears already and am changing the front tomorrow. Hopefully I'll see a little increase with that but I'm also replacing the 235/75/15's with 30x9.5 Cooper Discoverer AT3's in the near future so that won't help me any
