my passinger window stoped working i took it apart an found out that the gear was stripped out but the motor still works is there a gear kit out there that i can get to fix it (1998 2 door blazer ) thanks

I don't have a definitive answer, but having to replace a power window motor in my '95 T/A, it was the entire motor that needed replacement. Yes, it was only a gear that was chewed, but those things were not meant to be rebuilt, only replaced. Same with the pop-up headlights (although, there was some success with using the "opposite" side of the gear).

Have you tried going to a u-pull-it salvage yard for replacement ? Rock-auto has replacements for ~ $30.

i found a new one for 42 bucks but i was just looking for a rebuild kit but guess there not out there but thanks for ur input
