Pulling Motor the Smart Way

Pulling Motor the Smart Way
I plan to pull the motor next weekend to replace it with another 4.3L CPI I found around here for $400 running with all accessories. Main thing I'm trying to figure out is what would be the most simple way to pull it? Should I remove the bellhouse front bolts by using a few extensions and separating the engine block from the bellhousing, or should I just detach the driveshafts, pull the transfer case and pull both engine and transmission out at the same time? Just need to replace the motor AFAIK
It's my first time ever pulling a motor so I'm looking to get it done the most efficient way. Haha

Pull the motor and trans together for sure especially since you already have the front end off. You will hate yourself if you don't after trying to get at the top bell housing bolts to remove them and even more when its time to put it back together.
