saw this on wikipedia
so i looked up chevy blazer on wikipedia and it listed that the 1996(only) had an optional Vortec 4300 H.O V6, CSFI, 210 hp in the LT model. i have searched the forum and no one has this and i was just wandering if that seams right and what could make it go up 15 hp.
thanks

RE: saw this on wikipedia
I doubt it. I have the 96 LT edition, and the booklet that came with the truck says nothing about that. It only shows the base model and LT model, nothing about a 210 HP engine. Only the 175 i believe and the 190. Not sure about the base HP though. And I thought that all models from 95+ had the vortec. You can tell if you do if your VIN has a W in it. But as far as the LT edition, for me at least thats not true

You have to remember that Wikipedia is written by schmucks just like us, not necessarily by experts. Anybody can post incorrect information to it. There was no optional 210 hp engine.

All through high school it was stressed on how not to use wikipedia for the soul reason of other people posting what they think and incorrect information. But 210HP would be nice.
