Default spare tire carrier

just noticed my blazer does not have a spair tire, looked under neither and saw that the line that holds it has broke. do they make a spare tire carrier like the 2 doors have for my 4 door?

idk, i think you can just go and get one off a 2dr and put it on yours(what i am thinking of doin)

Really depends on what you are driving...

If it is a 1st gen, then I believe you can grab yourself a spare tire carrier and install it (some drilling required). For a 2nd gen, there is a bit of modification of the 2dr carrier to fit onto a 4dr as the 4dr was never offered from the factory with a rear tire carrier.

so, what kinda a mods? from what it looks like, i could pretty much bolt it right up(drilling too). the only real difference i can see it that the 2dr rear class has a different angle.

i have a 2nd gen 2 door with a spare tire carrier that someone took off and filled in all the holes. took it to the body shop to see about gettin put back on, the guy said that had it not already come with the spare tire carrier on it, that it would cost a fortune to put one on because he would have to reinforce the sheet metal to carry the extra weight. just something to think about.
