So, I know that they had tailgates on Blazers until '98. And now, I have seen some '98-'03 Blazer models that are 4 door that have the tailgate. When did they start remaking the tailgates?

They never stopped. Some had liftgates and some had tailgates.

Weird, cause I have never seen a 1998 (that i have actually looked in the interior) with a tailgate. Just the '99-'03

huh... The glass up, tailgate down configuration is a lot more common than the full liftgate that goes up.
