Default well, parting with my trans am for an s10

due to the fact i dont need a v8 car ive traded my 87 gta trans am for a 00 2.2 5spd s10, the only question i have is it has a soft bed cover but it doesnt clip to the top of the bed rails like all the others ive seen but all the clips are about 3 inches down from the side in the body? whats up with that

Sounds like the bed cover is not properly installed?

it overlaps every edge by a good 2-3 inches i came to 2 conlcusions 1 it was for a full size truck with a short bed or 2 its overlapped so strong wind gusts wont yank it from the top
