I put Ranchos on my Blazer and they are a bit stiffer than stock. Have a decent ride though, but they are also meant for some offroad use so they will not be as gentle as other shocks.

Also one thing to think of. This is an suv after all, it will never ride like a cadillac. So I hope your expectations are not that extreme lol.

I installed Gabriel Max Control on mine and absolutely love them.

I personally have rancho 5000s on my blazer and they made the ride a little more rough, but i appreciated them the couple times i went off the pavement. but on our 2000 f-350 we swapped the factory shocks for the rancho RSX and they definity give the truck a smoother ride. The 9000s can be adjusted from inside the cab, but the RSX which cost less and are constantly self adjusting. Do a search on the rancho site if you want to, you can also compare all the rancho's price, and what they are specifically designed for. I like the RSX, but try to do a little more research on them, so you can see if they are really what you want, because the blazer will always be a truck.
