Power window motor
I have a 2002 LS 4door and problems with the drivers side power window. I took the door panel apart before and I was getting power to the motor, so I banged on the motor with a big screwdriver ( hey it worked back in the day with a bad starter), and it started to work for a month, now its stopped. My question is how hard is it to change the motor and is it screwed in or pop rivited?

RE: Power window motor
In my experience with GM windows, they are normally riveted in. The motors cost between 100-200 dollars depending on where you get them. To change it, you need to remove the glass, take the old one out, mount the new one, and put some bolts in the place of the factory rivets. But maybe GM got smart with the blazers and screwed them in. How did it mount when you smacked it with the screwdriver?
