Default K&N Intake in winter?

Hello, I'm new to the forum, I was looking for an air intake for the blazer and the parts store guy ended up selling me on the K&N. I love in Montana, and being winter we tend to get snow quite often and I wondered if anyone on here uses the K&N ( or any after market intake) year round, or if I should be concerned with getting snow in it? Might be a dumb question, but I was just curious, Any thoughts would be appreciated.

dont think a few snow flakes will hurt it, and besides, its under your hood.

Default K & n

got the K&N intake installed, and I am very happy with the results! There may be only a few HP gain, but I could tell a difference right away. The throttle response is amazing now. well worth the money.
