CO smog testing, Help!
I just purchased a 88 K5, it has an Edelbrock direct injection manifold, shorty Edlbrock headers. The headers bolt to a Y pipe to flowmaster. No cat is installed. I assume that I have to get a cat put on, is there anything else I'm going to need to do? I was told I will need to put a stock exhaust manifold on and and air pump? Im confused because I was also told that the headers were CO legal. How is performance etc going to be affected? Thank you in advance for any suggestions provided.
