I took mine to a shop. The owner would not do dual pipes on my ZR2. There is too much in the way on the driver side. You run the risk of melted brake lines in the future, etc.

Not to say it can't be done though. It has been done before, you just deal with the risks. I could have taken it to another shop and had it done, but I chose to throw on a muffler and tip and call it good.

why not do dual and dump it before the rear wheels? or duals with turn downs before the rear axle so you look exhaustless?

i would do that but the state of maine requiers u to have a full pipe unless u have a truck and the muffler is past the cab. grr this sucks!! i hate my state

so, tail pipe it out the side... check the law and see what they mean by "full pipe".

if you want duals, you could also have both dump out the back in the stock location but angled to the side. My buddy with a ford explorer 5.0 had true duals installed dumped side by side and it sounds good but his catalytic died and now he smells like a boat haha

Well yeah, straight 6's are sorta like diesels, enough low end to uproot a tree but unlike diesels they're slow. Anywho, why not run single out the back but run a dual tip like this Gibson system:

Only a single tailpipe but a tip like this for the dual look:

You would need get the proper flange to connect it to the Catalytic convertor. This is for an S10 truck, so some pipes would need to be shortened to fit a 2-door blazer.

I also have no idea how it sounds.
