I have a 1997 GMC Jimmy 4x4 4.3L vortec v6 190hp stock- and i was going lift it and put bigger tires and i take it offroading and i drive it through the steap mountain roads alot.

"and i wanted more power and mabby sound better" hows a KandN air intake (gas milage inprove)/power worth it?

Whats a good flowmaster too?

-any other suggustions-

the best/cheapest mods would be a cold air intake and a muffler IMO. Yes get the K&N Intake system and if you go with a flowmaster, the 40series is very nice. I have a single chamber flowmaster (dont know the series) on my k5 and the sound is "VERY" deep. Technically mine is not meant for road use as it was stated to be strip & offraod use only. Those combined might get you an addtl 20-35/40 hp. Hope this helps.
