Thanks...KNowing we will be moving across the country in a year or so makes it hard to justify gathering parts for the SAS...

Well $#!+.

I went to check the tag on my pumpkin to see what the ratio is...and the only tag there is "use limited slip diff fluid only".

*And it's leaking.

So now what...pay a few hundred bucks to rebuild a crapxle...or...find a set of D44's with 4.10's, and just disconnect the front...and do the swap later.

This can't be easy, can it...

While doing a little research into gear swapping for the front...I happened upon a C-list ad...5" Trailmaster lift minus uppers, steering linkage, and rear flip kit...plus front diff with 4.10's, and every single part of the stock front suspension...$400.

It's 12 hours away.

I have a friend in that area who is picking up, and sending "extra" on the next truck headed from there to here.

That kinda makes the decision easier.

So...I'll pick all that up...find a D44 with 4.10's for the rear, order the steering linkage and the RC 2.5" kit for the UCA's and shackles, and be in a 5" lift with 4.10 gears for about $1200 total. Combine that with the 2" BL already on, and the 3+3 glass fenders arriving this week, and I should be able to clear 35x12.5 BFG's with the appropriate gear ratio.

Life is gooooooooooood.
