HELLO,


I just got a used 1995 blazer 4 door, It needs a few things, so im trying to resolve some issues.


When I got this, the mirror switch was inside the center console and not connected, im not sure its the right one, but research says it is, 8 pin.


Now my issue arrises, as I see the wiring from the mirror, left, not connected. and I do not know where it connects to, if a adapter or something is missing ??


I then have a wiring connector from the harness, but does not fit into anything.


Id like to hook up and see if this works or why its not in use atleast, but think there must be something missing.


So I hope you guys can help me out here.


here is pictures of the connector coming from the left mirror, I do see a heated symbol on the mirror, fyi.

here is the connector from the wiring harness, that has the other wires/ connection going to the window switches ect.

So, hope you guys can tell me, what I am missing or what may be wrong here. or is missing, where should the wires from the left mirrow connect too ? and the connector from the harness if that's the right one, it does not firt into my mirror control switch

I believe I found the connector to the mirror, 5 wires. different color codes on the wires. here is picture.


the connector from the mirror, has 5 wires.


2 black
1 white
1 green
1 yellow


the connector from the wiring harness has


1 black
1 green
1 yellow
1 red
1 white.









anyone know which one goes to which ?

As I mentioned, got this used recently.


I am making some progress. I think I have another piece of the buzzle.


apparently they control switch, likely the door locks and mirror is all from another blazer, year and make unkown.


In searching I see another type of switch and mirror for blazer. on the door panel.


well I was able to find some pictures, and the back of the mirror switch on the one im posting here. well it matches the connector on the wiring harness.


so my guess, they did not put back or replace with the right one ?







So, if I had a wiring diagram for this one, I hope someone has it.


Can I still use the round one that apparently was replaced with but never connected, due to this issue.


or can I not use it, because of the wiring not set up for this one ?


meaning the round one.
