Default 2000 Chevy Blazer (problems after heater core replacement)

I just replaced the heater core in my 2000 Blazer and now that i have it put back together I am having some electrical issues in the cab. The radio, HVAC, overhead panel, and seat heater will not work at all. The Tach, speedometer, door locks, overhead lights will not work unless my headlight switch position is vertical in the on position. When the headlight switch is vertical and the tach and speedometer are working the other four gauges stop working. In this position I can also hit the recall button on my radio and it will turn on for less than a minute.
After the heater core replacement I believe all the wires are correctly connected and I have checked all the fuses.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
