Hello every one
I recently picked up an 89 with the 4.3 and full electrical package...I recently started experiencing the most off the wall short...I turn the headlights on with the dimmer switch all the way to the left...and the truck starts violently backfiring and will eventually stall out...if I rotate the dimmer to the left(shutting off the instrument panel lights off) the truck returns to normal..same with the cigg lighter ..does anyone have ANY ideas as to why this happens? Any help would be greatly appreciated...
