blower motor issues

on the 92 jimmy that i built my 4x4 rx7 out of it was under the hood on top of the blower cover - in my 84 s10 blazer it's on the heater cover behind the glove box - it will be in the main air flow too cool it - it has a elongated plug with 3 or 4 wires, the resistor is held in place with 2 1/8 in headed screws - look under the hood first i will almost put bets its there

musta been asleep at the wheel last night - in the 84 s10 it's under the hood also - looked at my 83 K20 today it's behind the glove box in her - Oh well knew it was behind the glove box in one of the many chevys i own

High blower speed does not go through the blower resistor. If high speed is the only speed that does not work, you'll need to check voltage and resistance at the high blower relay, (center of firewall with 5 wires). Only need to check 3 of them, the dark blue and the purple wires are good.
2 orange wires:
One has voltage at all times.
The other one has voltage ONLY with the ignition in the run position, mode switch on HEAT, fan switch on 4, (HIGH).
Black wire must show less than 5 ohms to ground at all times.
Post your results, and we can figure out what the problem is.
