Defroster Switch Diagram
Ok so i never use my rear defroster.
I want to turn the switch for it into a switch for something else
but i need the wiring diagram for it.
There are 5 wires leading off of the switch and i have no clue what any of them are for.
i have searched EVERYWHERE for this wiring diagram but have come up empty
if you can help me i would greatly appreciate it

Hi guys, is there any reason that the blazer defroster control switch could not be replaced with a simple toggle and led indicator light to fire the timer relay? I'm putting aftermarket heated mirrors on a 93 fullsize that never had a heated option. Thanks in advance for any answer.

Great. I have been looking for this diagram as well. Does this diagram also applies for the 2001 model with the same engine. My Blazer came without the defogger and I have been trying to figure out the wiring to see what I need do to add one. I got the controller with the defogger from a yunk yard as well as the rear window. The wiring in the back of the controller is identical and it is hard to tell which are the proper wires for the defogger. So it is hard to trace. Would the timmer be part of the controller? this diagram shows it as a separate device. Where would it be located. Thanks in advance for any assistance you could provide
